Hot rolling mill Manufacturers contend that in spunmelt nonwoven production lines, the fiber web formed consists primarily of fibers overlapping within the plane, with very weak interlayer bonding in the through‑thickness direction. As a result, the web can hardly withstand external forces from any direction and thus lacks practical applicability. Consequently, appropriate web consolidation techniques are required to enhance fiber-to-fiber bonding, transforming the web into a nonwoven fabric with adequate longitudinal (MD) and transverse (CD) strength. A thermal calender utilizes the thermoplastic properties of the fibers: under the combined action of the high temperature generated by the calender rolls and the intense pressure between the rolls, the fiber web undergoes deformation, melting, and mutual adhesion at the embossing points, thereby consolidating the loose web into a nonwoven fabric with specified mechanical strength.
Hot rolling mill As an indispensable piece of equipment in both spinning and smelting production lines, its daily management is as follows:
1. During operation of the hot rolling mill, personnel are prohibited from entering the space between the hot rolling mill and the web‑forming table; entry into the protective guard at the drive end for inspection is also forbidden. Do not touch safety devices under any circumstances to avoid triggering a shutdown. Do not use your hands to touch the two heating rolls to prevent crushing or burns.
2. When the oil furnace is being heated, the hot rolling mill must be started, and the rolls should be separated to prevent thermal deformation.
3. When the oil furnace temperature reaches the setpoint, the hot rolling mill may be put into operation only if no alarms are active.
4. During normal operation, we must regularly monitor the lubrication oil pump, return oil pressure, and oil temperature to prevent bearing damage and other issues.
5. During the operation of the hot rolling mill, particularly when producing small‑quantity products, personnel are prohibited from walking in the space (passage) beneath the product to avoid compromising stable operation and preventing electrostatic discharge.
6. During operation of the hot rolling mill, care must be taken to protect the equipment and prevent hard foreign objects from entering the mill and damaging the rolls. If such an occurrence is detected, immediately press the emergency stop button to halt the mill; the upper and lower rolls will cease rotating and automatically separate.
7. During maintenance of the hot rolling mill, the hydraulic oil pump should be shut down to minimize hydraulic oil temperature rise and pump wear.
8. During regenerative operation, if the circulating oil pump stops suddenly, promptly troubleshoot and immediately restart it to prevent localized overheating of the heat-transfer oil.
9. When a roll malfunction occurs or foreign objects on the roll surface require removal, only tools made of soft metal may be used; the use of hard tools to clean or strike the roll surface is strictly prohibited.
10. If the high-temperature roller stops rotating due to a sudden power outage or other malfunction, it must be manually rotated 180 degrees every 10 minutes to prevent deformation.
11. During a normal shutdown of the hot rolling mill, when the mill oil furnace temperature drops below 80°C, stop the hot rolling mill and turn off the power switch on the control cabinet.
12. Regularly clean the heating system and remove any oil drips or leaks from the equipment, keeping the machinery tidy to prevent contamination of the workshop environment and eliminate potential safety hazards.
13. Attention Hot rolling mill To ensure the safety of the heating system, place a sufficient number of fire extinguishers near the equipment.
