For different glass process recipes, the control unit can store at least 50 parameters and call up these parameters at any time according to production needs.
In the service menu of the multifunction panel, the maintenance personnel can modify the geometry of the calender, for example by changing the diameter of the rollers. On the other hand, maintenance personnel can learn a lot of information from this menu, such as the current of all motors, as well as various fault information stored in the menu in text form via a data protocol.
The calender's control panel is connected to the local control via a fieldbus, from which relevant machine information such as speed information, motor current, annealing kiln speed, etc. can be read out. At the same time, the analog output template can also provide an analog signal of 4 ~ 20 mA for the annealing kiln to control the speed of the annealing kiln. The panel is installed near the machine. This stand-alone operator station is equipped with a multi-function panel with machine operating programs and is also equipped with two emergency stop buttons. One button is used to set a fixed speed (e.g., 1 m/min adjustable) and the other button is used to stop the machine.
