In plastic machinery, the rolling mill is usually connected to the main equipment such as material conveying, screening, measuring, kneading, and forming, as well as subsequent equipment such as lead out, stretching, embossing, cooling, thickness measurement, winding, and cutting, and transmission, monitoring, and heating equipment, forming a complete rolling production line to produce hard and soft films, thin films, leather, wallpaper, and floor roll products.
Working principle of rolling mill:
1. Relative rotation - two adjacent rollers rotate relative to each other at a certain speed ratio or constant speed;
2. Rubber material is pulled into the roller gap under the action of friction;
3. Due to the gradual reduction of the cross-sectional area of the roller gap, the adhesive material is subjected to strong compression and shear, completing the stretching and forming process, pressing or extruding the adhesive material onto the steel wire curtain, double-sided adhesive application, surface embossing and molding of the adhesive embryo, and bonding of multiple layers of film.
Maintenance and upkeep of rolling mill:
1. Regularly inspect the transmission design of the system to ensure smooth control of the oil circuit.
2. Pay attention to the bearings and seals of the roller. If necessary, remove the half cover and replace the oil resistant rubber tube. In case of severe leakage from the working water head, disassemble the water head and replace a sealing ring.
Under normal circumstances, the equipment should be inspected every two years to check the wear and tear of each component, replace worn parts, and ensure installation quality after maintenance.
4. After 2000 hours of operation, the machine should be cleaned and the engine oil should be replaced. The lubricating oil grade inside the reducer is 220 # gear oil. The reducer should be cleaned and the engine oil should be replaced once a year, regardless of the operating cycle.
5. The lubricating oil for the main gear of the rolling mill is 100 # engine oil, and the oil pressure is generally adjusted at 0.1~0.2Mpa. Pay attention to the changes in the oil level in the oil tank to ensure the normal operation of the lubrication mechanism.
After using the rolling mill for 300-600 hours, the lubricating oil in the reducer and oil collection tank should be drained, and new lubricating oil should be injected after cleaning with kerosene.
7. After each shift, turn off the main power of the distribution cabinet, wipe the machines, clean the workplace, and keep the environment clean.
A rolling mill is composed of two or more rollers arranged in a certain manner and at a certain temperature, which roll rubber or plastic into a certain thickness and shape of film surface, and can mechanically hang fiber or steel cord fabric.
