The equipment composition of the slitting machine generally includes: uncoiler, guide device, uncoiler tension device, head shear, tape threading table, looper, disc shears, guide roller, train conveyor roller, inlet clamping device, constant tension winding device, edge crushing machine, scrap steel car, coiler, paper lining device, etc. Generally speaking, there are the following types of slitting machines.
a. Single-inlet looper slitting
This type of slitting has a looper on the front of the shear. The ways of sending the strip to the inlet looper include central drive uncoiling, tension uncoiling, floating roller controlled uncoiling, etc. This method allows for micro- or zero-tension shear and avoids edge slippage. At the same time, the slitting machine can realize strip alignment in the looper without a centering device.
b. Single outlet looper slitting
This slitting is provided with a looper behind the slitting machine, and the strip to be sheared is pushed by the shearing machine into a tension-free looper between the shear and the tensioning device. For thin strips, an inlet edge guide system may be required to ensure uncoiling stability during the shearing process. This method can effectively avoid the problem of asynchronous strip coiling caused by thickness difference, and realize strip coiling by controlling the coiling tension. Because the outlet looper is arranged, the strip can flow out of the cutting edge freely, and the wear of the cutting edge of the strip in the tension state is avoided, and the service life of the cutting edge is affected; At the same time, because there is no tension at the outlet, the necking of the strip is avoided. Single-outlet loopers are widely used.
c. Double looper slitting
Double looper slitting combines two forms: inlet looper slitting and outlet looper slitting. Before the strip leaves the coiler and enters the shear, it is fed into the free looper by the slitting machine or the pinch roller device or tensioning device. After the sheared strip leaves the shredder, it is sent to another looper and then into the tensioning device. Therefore, this slitting method is called "double looper" slitting. For this type of cutting, the slitting machine is only used to cut the strips, thus eliminating the possibility of the strips sliding on the cutting edge of the scissors. This method neutralizes the characteristics of the single inlet and single outlet loopers and is suitable for shearing thin and soft strips.
