The calender equipment is equipped with a height adjustment device that adjusts the height between the calender and the kiln, as well as the distance parallel to the direction of glass rolling. The gearbox with handwheels allows for manual adjustment of the glass thickness. The electric height adjustment allows the calender to be adapted to the diameter of the furnace or calender roll under different conditions. The horizontal position of the upper rollers can be adjusted manually by means of a gear adjustment device. The parallel mounted gear adjustment device allows horizontal adjustment between the calender and the kiln lip brick in the range of 75 mm/-50 mm. The angle adjustment range of the discharge roller is 12 ~ 20. Thanks to the multi-directional adjustment device, the calender can be adapted to the furnace under different conditions.

The drive of the calender consists of three special gearboxes, driven by AC motors controlled by frequency converters. The main roller motor has a power of 3.0 kW and the inclined roller table motor has a power of 0.75 kW. The power is transmitted to the upper, lower and inclined roller tables via cardan shafts. The drive unit consists of a height-adjustable drive motor and a 0.25 kW body drive motor.
The upper and lower rollers of the calender run on wear-resistant bearings and are supported by two sturdy special brackets. The height of the upper roller is adjusted by the handwheel of the lifting device to realize the adjustment of the thickness of the glass, and the adjustment circle is 0.25mm.
On the upper platform of the calender, a 3 000 kg pressure regulating device connected to the upper roller of the calender is installed, which keeps the rolling thickness constant under the action of pressure, and the pressure can be adjusted by means of a control panel. In order to prevent the stones suspended in the glass from damaging the drum, or the glass surface from being twilled due to air bubbles, the upper drum can be lifted by a pressure device to allow the stones or bubbles to pass through.
The barting system of the calender is air-cooled, with a connecting tube diameter of about 100 mm and three air knives between the main and inclined roller tables of the calender, between the lower main roller and the first three conveyor rollers of the inclined roller table. The gas in the air knife supports the glass band from the bottom. Depending on the width of the glass strip, each air knife is divided into five sectors, and the air volume of the nozzle in each sector can be adjusted independently by means of an electrically controlled gate.
By using a parallel adjustment device, the distance between the calender body and the lip tile can be adjusted horizontally in the calendering direction in the range of 75 mm/-50 mm. With a parallel adjustment device and a handwheel, the upper roller can be adjusted horizontally by 10 mm/-40 mm relative to the direction of the annealing kiln.
The height of the roll body of the calender is regulated by four parallel adjustment devices, which are driven by a 0.25 kW AC motor with an adjustment range of approx. 180 mm. The bottom rollers of the calender are connected along the annealing kiln with four auxiliary roller frames with a diameter of 110 mm, all of which are coated with ceramic. All rolls of the calender are cooled by water, and the entire frame height of the tilting roller table can be adjusted relative to the cooling channel or discharge roller table. All rollers are driven by maintenance-free, water-cooled bearings, and the amount of water flowing through each drum can be adjusted independently.
